Assigning Configuration Settings Blocks in ProjectWise Administrator

In ProjectWise Administrator you can assign configuration settings blocks:

globally at the datasource level (Datasource Properties > Managed WorkSpace)
to specific applications (Application Properties > Managed WorkSpace)
to specific users (User Properties > Managed WorkSpace)
to groups (Group Properties > Managed WorkSpace)
to user lists (User List Properties > Managed WorkSpace)

On the Managed WorkSpace tab:
1. Double-click on a level name, or right-click the name and select Add Association.
2. Do one of the following:
  - If there are no configuration settings blocks for that level, you get a message that says there are no configuration settings blocks of this type in the datasource, therefore none can be assigned to this item.
    or
  - If a dialog opens, that means there are configuration settings blocks of this type in the datasource; when this dialog opens, select a settings block and click OK.
Click OK to close the Properties dialog.

Note: If a user is in multiple groups and\or user lists, all of the configuration for all of the groups and lists will be applied. It is important to understand a user's group\user list membership when assigning configuration.
